Sympathy and Condolences“With deep sorrow, yet with the blessed hope we have in Christ, we inform our IBTS family that our beloved Chairman, Dr. Kunjumon Chacko, has been promoted to glory. After a prolonged period of illness and suffering, the Lord, in His perfect wisdom and timing, has called His faithful servant home. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we rejoice that he has now entered the presence of his Lord and Savior, where there is no more pain, weakness, or suffering. Dr. Kunjumon Chacko devoted his life to the service of God, the advancement of His Kingdom, and the training of countless men and women for Christian ministry. His vision, sacrificial leadership, unwavering faith, and love for the Lord have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness..." (2 Timothy 4:7–8) Let us uphold the bereaved family in our earnest prayers, asking the God of all comfort to surround them with His peace and strength during this time of loss. May we also thank the Lord for the remarkable life and faithful ministry of His servant, whose works will continue to bear fruit for His glory. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." (Psalm 116:15) Please continue to pray for the entire India Vision and India Baptist Theological Seminary family as we mourn the loss of our beloved Chairman while rejoicing in the certainty of his eternal home in Christ.” |

Handbells BBQ Fundraiser!Would you like some home-smoked BBQ pork or turkey for your holiday celebration? The GCBC Ringers can help you out!
The new handbell room has had new HVAC installed and we are raising funds to help cover the $8000 price tag. We are offering pre-ordered pulled pork and turkey by the pound ($15) which can be picked up on Friday, July 3rd. And we are offering box lunches for either takeout or eat-at-church on Sunday July 5th. (1/$20 or 2/$30).
Those lunches will include your choice of 2 sides and there are options to purchase a dessert if you prefer.
Order forms are available outside Melissa's office or you may stop by the MAC lobby for the next two Sundays and give us your order. A payment QR is on the form which you may scan and pay directly to the Music Ministry or you can pay by cash or check as well when you order or when you pickup.
The Ringers are excited about moving into a space with more room! Thank you for always supporting us!
