This Ash Wednesday, we encourage you to include dinner in your observation. A prayer time and a silent candlelight vigil to the sanctuary will be part of our service. We hope you will plan to begin your Lenten journey by participating and attending the dinner and service. Watch for the menu to be sent out in next week's newsletter.
Also, for a new Lenten practice, you will see an image in each week's newsletter with reflection questions. This practice is called Visio Divina, one in which you look and reflect on an image asking the Spirit to speak to you through it.  The image will also be posted to social media and we hope you will post answers to the questions there so we might enjoy those reflections as a community of faith.

Interested in a mission experience only two hours from Roanoke?  Join us at an information meeting on Sunday, March 1st, in the Youth Room after worship to learn about The Wade Center and what you can expect.  The trip is open to 5th grade youth and above as well as adults!  The trip is July 19-24.  Come and find out what it’s like with experienced attendees.  For questions, please see Susan Powell or Justin Brill.
