Sympathies and Condolences

AMOS, LAQUITA (Mother of Susan Kirby, Frank Amos and Chris Brown) Sympathies and Condolences to the family in Laquita’s passing on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

SEWELL, STEPHEN – Sympathies and Condolences to the family in Stephen’s passing on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Oakey’s South Chapel, located at 4257 Brambleton Ave., Roanoke, VA 24018. Services to honor Steve’s life will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Grandin Court Baptist Church followed by a short reception. Burial will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park.

Ladies Fall Retreat

Ladies,

Fall is here and it's time to get away!

This year's fall retreat "A Moment in Time" will focus on the wisdom of the book of Ecclesiastes and how we can use that wisdom to seek a closer walk with God and one another. Approximate cost is $175-200.
(There is also an option to go early on Thursday for pre-retreat rest and fellowship.)
