Our Philosophy

The preschool of Grandin Court Baptist Church seeks to provide an atmosphere of nurture, support, and affirmation for pre-kindergarten children. Our main purpose is to foster an understanding and appreciation of God's presence in nature and in each child’s life. We seek to fulfill this purpose through our curriculum and through the loving example of teachers and staff.

Our program is not primarily or specifically academic. Rather, the preschool is designed to foster the development of a healthy self-esteem and wholesome relationships to all of God’s creation. Our curriculum is designed to prepare children for kindergarten socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually in a fun environment. We believe that preschoolers learn through play. We encourage children to have fun while they are at school and we delight with them in their discoveries.

Four's and Five's Class

3-day program Monday, Wednesday, Friday

5-day program Monday-Friday

Hours: 9:00 am - Noon

Children must be the appropriate age on or before September 30 to enroll. Our teacher/child ratio is 1 teacher to 4 children in the 2’s class, 1 teacher to 5 children in the 3’s class, and 1 teacher to 7 children in the 4’s and 5’s class.

Rates for 2008 - 2009:

$105 a month for 2 year class - 2 days

$110 a month for 3 year class - 3 days

$110 a month for 4’s & 5’s class - 3 days

$125 a month for 4’s & 5’s class - 5 days

$60 – registration fee
