Our Ministry Activities Center ( MAC ) is on and moving forward.  The Grandin Court Baptist Church family in a called business meeting on May 7, 2006 overwhelmingly and enthusiastically voted ‘yes “ for the following motion brought forward by the MAC Committee:

We – The MAC Committee - are requesting approval for the construction of the $3.8M Ministry Activities Center building project as proposed by R. L. Price and Balzer & Associates.  A second three-year capital stewardship campaign will be required to raise $1.6 million in pledges to commence contiguously with the conclusion of our first capital stewardship campaign in June 2006. 

When pledges reach $1.2 million, we will authorize Balzer & Associates to proceed with the necessary steps to begin the process of finalizing construction drawings and provide them to R. L. Price for construction to commence. 

Next Steps:

• If you pledged to the first capital campaign, please complete your pledge by June 2006 if you are able to do so.

• Look to June 4, 2006 as the kick-off date for the second capital campaign.

• For those who participated in the first capital campaign please consider continuing or increasing your pledge for the second capital campaign.  For new members, please join us with your pledge to the MAC. 

• Look for MAC updates in the Messenger, church bulletin and at our Grandin Court Baptist Church website.

• Remember, this project is not about bricks and mortar, but about expanding our ministries in the name of Christ in our community and beyond.
